Looking for new Tires for H2

Post by dwaxman1 »

Well after our last trip and many more KMs, it looks like my H2 tires have seen better days and time to invest in some new ones..I have Goodyear Wrangler MT/Rs on it and would like to replace with the same but apparently these aren't made anymore, need to get the new GoodYear Wranglers with Kevlar, by the way i have 37x12.5x17 on it. So I started to look for a set and apparently they are sold out everywhere, in Canada and the US, even tirerack.com only has 2, so does anyone know of somewhere to get them, and by the way I am not willing to cut off my right leg for them, i don't believe in inflated prices either, going rate online is between 350-400, damn Bramlea Tire will get them for me by end of June for 385$ installed each but that is a long wait.

let me know... anywhere, willing to pay for shipping if needed or also willing to look at other options and brands..

currently interested in..

GoodYear Wrangler MT/Rs with Kevlar

BFG KM2s

37x12.5x17 x 4

Thanks

I have KM2's..... I dunna think I'll get them again... alot of side slide with these. Not as bad as the Nitto Mud graplers... but it's there.

Our buddy who owns E-Mortal customs was watching last run out (All mud by the way) and the tire that he saw do the best even with open diff's was the baja claw...

Maybe consider those.....

Have you thought about the Hankook Dynapro MT? This is going to be my next tire.

Here is a link with a little write up on them.

I also have a magazine(FOURWHEELER-April issue) where they did a tire shoot out and they rated the Hankook #1. For this write up they used 37x12.5x17 from 10 different manufacturers. I beleive that Hesh in Manitoba has them on his H1.

Right!!! Good Call!

Karl had Dynapro's and he was very happy with them - they are a very good tire! If you saw our video's - it took alot for him to get stuck....but of course he was real good!!!

I would recommend definitely!

Here's a very good site that has done some reviews: http://www.offroaders.com/tech/AT-MT-Ti ... rrains.htm

Trying to find a local supplier for Hankook in Toronto now...I looked on their site and didn't originally see a 37x12.5x17 tire.
