I am wondering sometimes what other vehicule would I choose other than Hummer for a truck.
How about you? Which other truck would you buy?
Also, do you think GM could start the brand again?

Re: Hummer replacement?
I bought my Hummer with the idea that I would like to go Off-Roading. I suppose once the Hummer is dead, I'd look at a Jeep or ATV. There are certainly more trails for ATV's, and a small vehicle can trailer them easily. For now, the Hummer is running great, looks good and is the best vehicle I've ever owned. I can't see me trading it in anytime soon.

I'm not stuck, I'm momentarily inconvenienced.

Other than Hummer, I like the Escalade EXT very much. I like the look, I like that it's a truck, and I like the prestige of the model just as Hummer does.
I also believe that GM did not sell the brand to maybe bring it back with more economical drivetrain.

I would , or should i say will . Always buy HUMMER used of course ! REMEMBER ! There are still low talk in the hallways in Detroit from some lower executives in GM. That are still pissed about the dropping of HUMMER ! They know when they got out off the OFF ROAD MARKET and GM let Chrysler Ford and Toyota take over . They lost billions of dollars .Remember Toyota was going to drop the FJ . Then sales went through the roof . This even stated by Toyota due to GM DROPPING of HUMMER . The sales are from people who wanted to buy a NEW HUMMER and could not . So they went with the FJ !The talk about H3 and H3T coming out under the GMC name plate has been swirling around for awhile . It's all about timing , and the with the current U S administration in power and the bail out still owing . This not the time . Please remember if we ever see our beloved HUMMER or it renamed . It will look alot diffrent from what we know now . Now as to what else i would buy ? If i had to ? I would say i am a fan of the Ford Raptor !

Yeah, the Raptor is quite something. I also like the new Durango Citadelle.

Land Rovers are very stylish but I'm scared of the reliability and horrible maintenance cost.

Re: Hummer replacement?
if i could find a older late 70's land cruiser Fj40 in decent shape I would restore that .....unless they do finally decide to put the hemi in the Jeep's , then I may look into that .....thats only if my hummer was wrecked beyond repair. The Defender's a good pick also Derek <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ght_on.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':right_on:' />
