Rearview Mirror problem

Post by Gadgets »

I have a 2007 H2 that has one of the back-up camera systems built into the rearview mirror. This is the one that the screen slides out from the right side when you put the truck in reverse, then retracts when you put it in drive. Mine comes out fine, but doesn't retract. It tries, you can here the motor running inside, but you have to push it back in. Anyone know anything about these? I have searched over and over on the net to find tons of articles talking about the system, but never problems or how to fix.

Thanks,

Brian

That's the first year for that option i believe ? I also have never heard any issues with it either . Have you tried calling a dealer service , and speak to an advisor ? Maybe they might have a idea . Our a local car stereo shop might be able to help .

I haven't called anyone yet, not sure the last time I had to actually. Google usually solves all for me. :-) I'll hang in and wait to hear if Steve has any thoughts, I can always video the problem for full affect if need be.

Thanks guys
