Half-Shaft Crash Expirience

Was on 407 Hwy and suddenly I hear a crazy screaming beat on the rear side of the truck....bom bom bom bom! Crazy shit when you are on the 100 kms hour speed. I stopped and seeing halfshaft busted on the rear passenger side..out of nowhere...,imagine how pissed you get when you didn't f**k around with the truck or forced it to anything and the b*tch comes in the mail....(believe me i broke few axles on my ATV experience - pulling and forcing the atv..)

how fair it to be? no symptoms no sounds prior notifying it might need a repair as well as no issues with CV Boots...all kosher...

i have a bit a hard time believing my other 3 halfshafts gonna last a while....

question, will the humvee halfshafts work on mine or there is an issue with ABS and TT4 ? are they compatible or not?

any preventive steps to avoid crash breakdowns and find out about possible replacement? As per Phil my truck was mint and no issues...but apparently this can happen anytime with no warning signs? whats your thoughts guys?

Phil just finished working on it.. 1200 dollars present on 407ETR trip...reason caused by exessive vibration on the truck prior which resulted in 2 bolts coming loose and due to the pressure snapping the axle out...guys whatch for vibration....

Did you have Phil install new bolts and Nord-Loc washers? This will stop the bolts from popping out!

Sorry to hear about the issue, I assume the Half shaft is garbage and you need to purchase a replacement one?

As Phil might have told you. Humvee shafts fit but the ABS system will not work as the exciter ring is missing.
