What I find funny is that I've never really made that connection until now. I love it, hehe.

I used to own a 1986 Toyota MR2 that also had a 1.6L engine. The smallest engine I now own is in a 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 and the bottle comparison makes it seem smaller than I thought. It's 1.5 bottles of displacement.

That's it. We'll now start measuring our engines' displacements in bottles.

haha, classic!

So many of my past cars have had tiny engines:

81' BMW 320i = 1.6L

89' Isuzu I-mark LS = 1.5L

07' Honda Fit = 1.5L

my first 4x4 was a Suzuki samourai that I'd bought for 100$ as a rebuild winter project. It had a wooping 1L 4cylinder engine developing a terrifying 50hp with a top speed of 100kph.

Exactly! Now we need to calculate the fluid levels for the differentials, transfer case, transmission, etc. in bottles.

Some smaller engines can do wonders though so do not laugh at them at all. For example, the Mazda RX7's engine had a mere 1.3L displacement, but of course it was a rotory engine.
