After I install my ARB's front and back on my 1999 H1, how much can I remove of the ABS-TT4 system?
I would like to make the vehicle as simple as possible!
Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott,
You are better of leaving all the components in position and enjoy the piece of mind that you don't have to rely on them any more! Besides there would be too much stuff to replace anyways.

Can I just disable them? Like removing the fuse or something. I have the ABS & TT4 lights coming on intermittently. I need to reset the code every time and it gets on my nerves <img src='

Pulling the fuses won't get rid of the lights, the only way you can do that would be to remove the bulbs, then at least you wouldn't see them come on at all. Just don't try and remove the modules and reroute the lines...that will cause problems!
At least, you should look forward to the ARBs!

So Seeing as there has already been some snow in the praries and northern ontario then that means you are doing it next week...right! <img src='

I need to ask, why would you remove the TT4 system?
I have an '01 with ABS, TT4 and I've installed Eatons. I really feel I have the best options available for any conditions. I can BTM, I can use TT4 or I can lock up. I feel there's a condition for each tool I have available off road.
If your TT4 light is coming on I suggest fixing the problem, it's usually not that difficult. Almost always it's a sensor that's backed off from the tone ring. It just needs a business card between the tone ring and the sensor, then gently tap the sensor so the business card is tight. Remove card.
Are you aware of the 'jumping pins 4 and 15 trick?' It flashes out a code that will help you diagnose the problem very quickly. It's called the Blink Code Procedure. It'll tell you which sensor needs adjusting.
If you Google 'TT4 Blink Code Procedure' you'll find what you need.
