Wow! That IS a great video! Really makes a guy wanna go out and do some good. What amazing vehicles really that they can be so much fun to own, and on a serious note, can do so much good in disasters. Likely able to get in and out of so many situations that other emergency responders probably cannot. Is there a Canadian arm of HOPE?

No, sadly. You'd think with American's tendencies to throw liabilities and lawsuits around like some strippers throw panties, that it would be the other way around. Id sign up in a heart beat should this ever make it north of the border. I try and use my truck to do as much assisting and aiding as possible. Whether it be helping out when I roll past a accident and offering the victims or first responders if they need a hand moving vehicles, etc, or going out during inclement weather to aid people stuck, etc.
Some hospitals have a winter/blizzard call list where people can volunteer to transport Doctors and Surgeons into the hospital should inclement weather strike. This is something the Canadian, Hummer Owning, Good Samaritan can look into as well to help out in their community.
