[/quote] After last weekend ! It's a HUMMER ! I had H-2 and H-1 GUYS ,that had nothing but complements for the H-3 ! Oh and they will tell you i went through everything they did . So yes IMO it has earned it's name plate ! The H-3 does need minimum LT 285-75-R-16/"33" inch Rubber for the tuff stuff though IMO .

Hi louiswesternoff

Well I have an Alpha Adventure, been to Indiana this yrs with it, done ( witness at hand ) the H1 trail with minor help( pulled out 3 times of inline jacking because diff clearance in water hole where the height couldn't be evaluated by sight) that tells me that I can surely go almost everywhere an H1 can, Everywhere an H2 can and Ive been to places I couldn't go in my Jeeps days, SO yess my H3 is a HUMMER, I would like to see a Colorado go where I've ( we've) been.

Its my 3rd H3, although I had some regrets with my 2006 ( not because of offroading capabilities, but on hwy driving. The passing of vehicle was horrible especially the 18 whellers. Other than that no regret at all, i've been to rally, offroading with the boys and been everywhere they went to, trade it in for another in 2009, wanted an alpha, but there weren't any available with what I wanted. Traded in my 09 for a Alpha 2010 in march, that I found in the states with around 10000km on it , all dressed like my other 2 and I have no regrets what so ever, love it. People can say what ever they want, I don't really care. They are always pleased when I pull them out of the snow bank or stop on the road to help. The ones that complain, their most recurrent comment is in regards of fuel economy.

Well as fuel economy, on trip I can do 9.5 to 10.3L/100 on cruise control at 110km/h 2000rpm. Any pick up in mid class is doing at least 13 to 16L/100 with a 4 , 6 or 8cyl, and full size pick up is definitely drinking fuel more than me ( around 18 to 25L/100. )

SO to me you bet my H3 is a HUMMER, and no regret for buying one. If the brand restart, and they put the Hx in the line up or even another H3, I would buy one.

And they can think what ever they want. its a free country.

I own an 2008 H2 back home and i had to downsize for the smaller roads in montreal so i got an H3 Alpha in montreal currently (i will be bringing the Alpha back home as well some time in july 2012) i have been able to go places to match my H2s performance off road and rock crawling. i have not been around any H1s yet. A friend of mine has 1995 model drop top but it rarely sees off road terrain. The H3 is the real deal, it does everything a hummer is advertised to do. its also if you like to look at this way the sportcar of the group. weighing in around 4900 pounds its a light weight and with the Alphas V8 motor its almost a sleeper. i have no regrets in owning it. i m never selling either. hope this helps.

Our H3 Alpha does everything asked of it including chasing down Roy's H1 at 150km on the 401. Nothing scares a Smart Car driver more than a modified H3 closing at speed <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... oflmao.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rotflmao:' /> Only catch get an 09 or 10 with adventure package . Our 08 hasn't but even when broken it got home.
