Every September The Hummer Club Inc. puts together their marquee event in Moab, Utah.
This is an event that should not be missed!
If you've been to Moab before, you already know why, if you've never been, it's a bucket list item that must be done. It's absolutely incredible.
Since many people plan their annual vacation early in the year I'll start this thread early. Here's the information.

I strongly recommend that you join the entire event, not just the Moab portion. In Durango and Ouray (say 'Uray') the trails are absolutely incredibly beautiful. The trails are all easy trails with ghost towns, abandoned mining facilities and elevation in excess of 12,000ft. It's simply stunning terrain. The New Mexico trails are short trails, more like a rock garden that you play in. Very unique and a lot of fun. Moab is, or course, wheeling paradise - you just must do it at least once.
BTW, only Hummer vehicles are allowed in the event and you must be a member of the Hummer Club Inc.
I'm going, and so far we have at least 2 other trucks from Alberta going. Will you join in?
My first trip to Moab was a life changing event - I can't stop going back!
Greg
PS, if we get a total of 6 trucks from Alberta, I'll volunteer to trail lead again. So far we have 3.....

Re: Moab 2012
If you care, every year I've been there (more than a decade) there's been executives from AM General there. I expect they'll be there again in 2012. They're great guys.
So far 3 trucks from Russia say they're coming!
It should be fantastic!
BTW, BRING THE WIFE!
It's a family friendly event. There's no drinking on the trails, no drugs - it's a great atmosphere for everyone.
Your wife will just love the scenery - it's spectacular, and she'll enjoy the company.
Don't leave the family behind! It can be a fantastic family vacation.
