1) Drivers meeting each morning in the parking lot. Be fueled up & have a lunch packed each trail day.
2) A CB for communication is required. Inform your trail leader if you do not have CB communications.
3) Soft folding chairs are recommended to sit in at on the trail for lunch and at the tailgate party.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I strongly recommend that you join the entire event, not just the Moab portion. In Durango and Ouray (say 'Uray') the trails are absolutely incredibly beautiful. The trails are all easy trails with ghost towns, abandoned mining facilities and elevation in excess of 12,000ft. It's simply stunning terrain. The New Mexico trails are short trails, more like a rock garden that you play in. Very unique and a lot of fun. Moab is, or course, wheeling paradise - you just must do it at least once.
BTW, only Hummer vehicles are allowed in the event and you must be a member of the Hummer Club Inc.
I'm going, and so far we have at least 2 other trucks from Alberta going. Will you join in?
My first trip to Moab was a life changing event - I can't stop going back!
Greg
PS, if we get a total of 6 trucks from Alberta, I'll volunteer to trail lead again. So far we have 3.....
