I would like to undercoat my H1 with Ez Liner box coating:

Hi Scott,



I just had my H2 completely rustproofed and undercoated at VitroPlus. They even put a special undercoating that is designed for use on offroad vehicles. They did my frame inside and out and all suspension components and the entire underside of the body. They did a super great job, and it only cost $150 + tax.

Personaly i would choose something else, ie a yearly applied oil based spary for rust protection. However if i were going to undercoat the frame with a undercoating "paint" per say.. I would go with POR-15. Ive used it for alot of ground up golf cart projects, and its awesome stuff <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ght_on.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':right_on:' /> "Virtualy" chip resistant, and it actualy absorbs the water away from any rust when you apply it, to help pervent the rust to continue growing. The only thing is that its not UV resistant, so i think you need to coat it with another type of paint if its exposed to the sun.

Thanks Kev! But unfortunately we don't have them were I live. The closest one is an hour away, 1.5 hours in a Hummer!

Thanks! I'll check it out for the POR-15. And I should be good for UV protection cause I usually run my Hummer with the wheels on the ground <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... oflmao.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rotflmao:' />
