Have any of you used theses or their products ?
After the holidays . On my things to do list . I am going to Rip off the factory nerfs and replace them with theses N-FAB steps . I like how close they sit to the rocker and extra clearance they give . While still providing the assist for shorties . Plus they look sharp . I know they are not sliders . I was looking at sliders also . When you factor in the removable step price x 4 say , and sliders . That's the price for a future cat back exhaust plus install . So i am opting for theses . Keep me in budget for the Magnaflow next on the list .

I have the N-Fab steps on my SUT and they are nice and very solid for only being screwed into the subframe ..they are pretty easy to install ...only problem i have is the powder coating is already coming off in some parts and rusting , they're only a couple years old too
Lifted , locked and ready to rock!

Thanks for the input Gaza . I seen they offer the powder coat , then black paint finish. Also a color match to your rig . Which is powder coat i believe . I am going to shot for the black Paint then . Figure if i run into a rust issue in time . Out comes the can of Tremclad . D-MAN N-fab themselves have them for H2's at $445 Yankee . So do the conversion plus shipping i guess . Check out TEAKA -TOYS , NEXT TAG , HUMMER PARTS . They are all about the same . I am just going with National 4wd . The price includes shipping , and since i bring my rig to them for mods . I will ask them is they can even work me out a better deal . It's around $549 for the H3 . Remember when ordering them to specify if you have mud flaps or not . There is a small difference if you have mud flaps . With out flaps they sit tighter to the vehicle so i have read .

I was looking at Rocky Mountain rock rails/side steps a couple years ago. Not sure what they cost on the H3, but on the H2 they're $479 a set, painted black. Shipping could be what gets you though. I know Rocky Mountain rails are one of the highest-rated in 4WD magazines in terms of quality, and ability to take the vehicle's weight if bottomed out on. (I believe the ones on the H2 are designed to take the full vehicle's weight several times over - GM was advertising that at one point years ago.)

I can atest to the strength of the stock rock rails on the H2!

Only a small dent and pushed it up tight to the body. Amazing!

Factory H3 bars aka Nerf bars bend at mounting brackets and are generally easy to bend back . Rhinos OEM bars were bent at door split by impact of a sunfire on rightside causing paint damage as well. The stick out pushed sunfire away from more damagable body fenders and wheels.

When the time comes I plan to bug Brodie for a set of Ridge Demon sliders, a bit more pricey but the best looking product by far I've seen to date for H3 and H3T's.

Those are what i call sliders . So what isthe damage on theses ? If GM , and N-Fab are ranging between the $ 500-$800 Range . Other's Are most likely the same . I love how the H2 stuff is cheaper then the H3 in some cases. Can't figure that out . <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... unsure.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
