ABS and TC light on

Not to sure why this is on, i did a forum search and found a few others that had the same problem but no real solutions. I called GM today where they installed the diff and they said to bring it in as i have no 4x4 now either. When i went sledding in the mountians the lights weren't on but even then i noticed my 4x4 wouldn't engage, lucky my sled trailer gave me enough weight that i still made it out of where i parked to dump the sleds.
When my H2 was in getting the new tires and rims i went around and checked every conection on the hubs, and the connections back further on the truck and all seemed to be together good. Anyone else have this problem? I checked all fuses and they were good. <img src='

They could have damaged the ABS sensor during the install. I've been told it is pretty easy to damage them.
This is going to sound kind of silly, but trace back your ABS lines from the wheel hub and just double check that it is snuggly connected in behind the inner fender wall.
When I did my lift, I had left one slightly disconnected... triggered the ABS light and TC right away. I thought I had damaged it, but after clicking it together it was fixed.

Heading out to check them all right now, thanks. Never even thought about when the lift got put in. <img src='

I went and checked all connections, unplugged them and re-did them so i heard the click...still on. Ill take it in to GM and see maybe a sensor crapped the bed god knows. Thanks for the idea

When I had my gears changed one of the sensors got damaged. The shop had to take it to another garage to find out which one was damaged, and then replaced it.

was it an ABS sensor Tanky? i read some where about ABS sensor going, another said wheel speed sensor, some say remove the sensors as rust and grime build up behind the sensor...but it just seems weird that my 4x4 won't engage.

If you know somebody at one of the shops you can get them to pull the code on the fancy readers (otherwise they might charge you 100$ or something to plug it in), if it is a faulty sensor it will tell them exactly which one.

Possibles from an h3
1 bad speed sensor or any wiring for them.
2 something amiss in transfer case or encoder.
3 something stuck in or bad brake pads rotors.
in other words you need the codes read and the proper fix applied.
The systems are inter linked so one fault cassades into multiple failures
Also infomercial here has a code reader for 100 bucks US or 120 can unit is called car md and uses reader and your computer to tell whats up.b web site

I'm pretty sure it was an ABS sensor, but they had to take the truck to a garage that had a good diagnostic computer to determine which sensor it was. A simple code reader wouldn't work.

ABS sensors and Wheel Speed Sensors are one and the same. Do not try and clean a defective sensor...only replace. In the front replace the hub(wheel bearing) with the sensor as an assembly, this is faster and will correct 100% of the problems. In the rear the sensor is separate and can be changed without replacing any other parts.
As for your 4x4...All Hummers are fulltime 4x4 so I am not sure why you would say that the 4x4 can't engage? You won't be able to select 4Hi Lock or 4 Low Lock but you are permanently in 4x4 no matter what!
Hope this helps,
