Just because I drive a HUMMER don't mean I don't care about the planet.... in fact it means I can get to most parts without any help!

I have seen this video before and although it shows the skills of the H2 nicely, it is very biased. Some of the other competitors are much better offroad than portrayed in this comparison. The G Class has 3 lockers and it looks like they were left open on purpose in this video. The Range Rover has Air Suspension and a sophisticate 4x4 computer system...was it used for this test? The Lexus/Landcruiser has it's running boards mounted (even the H2 will loose a lot of clearance with the side steps left on).It is very obvious that all the other SUV's were purposely driven very poorly and anybody with a bit of offroad experience can see this. Although I truly believe the H2 can beat the competition, this video does not show what the other SUV's are capable of. Especially the Range and the G are very close to the H2 in terms of ability. Let's not stoop to the level of other forums and make fun of other excellent offroaders. Indy

Actually, having driven the trails several times and been trained as an off road instructor on the AMG offroad course, I can Guarantee you these other trucks could not run this course. Not with street tires! While the MB and RR are impressive vehicles, the AMG trails will expose any and every weakness, they just don't have the approach and departure angles nor the ground clearance to be able to run these trails! Heck I have even seen TT4 H1s get miserably stuck on those trails, so the video is more accurate than you might think. However at the end, when the H2 is pulling all the others, that is just pure mockery!

I had a range rover and I can say there is no way it could do the course as shown, if they had a defender,,,, different story, that would blitz it.

I agree that the other suv's in this video would not be able to do the trail, especially since it has been set up to meet the specs of the Hummer, but you must admit that the others were driven poorly on purpose. This is veerryyy apparent. I think with the right tires, the RR and the G class would be quiet close to the H2 in most categories except approach angle and departure angle. I think the Range has a breakover angle of 30 degrees, which even beats the H2. And the G has 3 lockers and their articulation is a lot better. But I do agree, the H2 is hard to beat.
