Should be ok, I have seen 40*15.5 that rub, but not much rubbing. Just have to see what offset the rim has!!!

i personally wouldnt go over 13.5 as width LMAO they would throw a lot of gravel and stonechips on your fenders paint unless you re in for another 1000bucks for a fender flares <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='8)' />

Offset is relative to the width of the rim. What size/width rim?

18" width is 9"

Second thing I'm worried about is that they are rated 2200LB max load Not going to use them for offroad

That's only a 4.5" backspace. Chances are youre gonna be rubbing being that you will be pushing your wheels about 2.5 inches or so further out. Factory wheels are a much higher backspacing and iirc around 7", so you'd wanna be in and around the +35-45ish offset (which you'd be hard pressed to find. Id stay away due to rubbing issues, but even more so on account of the load limit of the rims...

Just found 18" rims 9" width with 25mm offset which gives me 6" of backspace and if I would go with 38/14.5/18 would that be ok?? but rims are rated 2300LB how big of a deal would that be? I'm more then sure that we have guys here running aftermarket wheels on h1
