Wondering if there might be any interest locally for Hummerdan Skids?
I am toying with the idea of driving down to pick them up along with other items along the way and bringing a load of stuff back.
I think they need 6 more people to sign on for the Skids. If i can get 4 locals in on the deal it might be worth the drive down and back. Its just a thought at this time.
Any interest???

I have a spare, un-used passenger side step-style. If you dont go thru with it, Id sell you it so you could clone it for the driver's side, but I do NOT want to snipe any of dan's business as he was great to deal with.

These are the definitive slider/rocker protection for anyone with a mild to serious H1. Ive contemplated going with the Predator, Rubber Duck, etc ones, but none of them compare or hold up to the abuse tolerated by these. These do not adhere to the factory aluminum rocker protection like all the others do, but rather replace the entire pan/rocker. I believe that this is one of the reasons for the significant price difference between the RD4x4/Predator ones (at around $1000-1200) and the Hummerdan ones (at around $16-1700). While the RD ones have been proven to be strong on side impact, the one thing I did really like about these was the fact that these will not only protect from side-impact damages on off angle rock-trails, etc, but also guys have had the whole weight of the truck on a rock sitting on one of these guards, to no damage. They protect the entire length of the floor pans on both the passenger and driver side. Used in conjunction with the factory undercarriage protection, these are an excellent protective measure. The aluminum factory rocker protection panels weigh about 30-40 pounds a piece, these weigh 160-180 each, and are as of recently, offered in a step-top (flat-top) option for those wanting it to act as a side step, as well as the angular protection as seen on the red truck in the third picture.
Not only that, but as I mentioned, Dan (the creator of these) is a fantastic guy to deal with and really helped me out sorting out any questions or issues I had. He has been making these for quite some time, and these group buys are typically a deal that only come around once every 2-4 yrs so anyone contemplating it, should really do what they can to make these a reality for their trucks. As far as Im aware, he does not offer similar products for the H2 and H3, but if anyone is interested in approaching him or contacting him directly, I can forward you his email if you PM me.
