Hey guys, I've been looking to get an H1.  I currently own a Jeep, but am looking to move on to bigger and better things.  When I bought the jeep I failed to research the subject prior and had to change the vehicle 6 months after.  So I just want to learn and read up on them before buying one.  Any tips on where to start.<DIV> </DIV><DIV>Marc</DIV>

I am in Ottawa, I would love to see one up close, and whenever you guys go off roading, I would love to tag along.  The places I've seen some used did not know anything about them.  Litterature is hard to find

What do you want to use the truck for? Daily driver or week end activities?<DIV> </DIV><DIV>The end use has some bearing on whcih variant and year you might want to get. The 92-93 and hmmwv's are dead reliabile but slow and noisey. They would be difficult ot drive every day. The later year trucks are like luxury cars in comparison but at the expense of complexity and cost.</DIV><DIV> </DIV>

Mine would be a w-e toy, as well as to pull a boat.  But I really don't care about noise and rattles, I would much rather have a very reliable machine.
