hey guys
just lately ive been having an intermittent problem of my doors not unlocking with the key fob.
new batteries in the fob
lock will always work and unlock is intermittent
on a side note
the odd time my driver door will have no power at all no windows, locks or heated seats. not sure why nothing has been touched in there. not sure if these are linked
the fob prob is all the time and the door power problem is say every second day
please help
its very frustrating

Re: h2 door prob
When my seats weren't working it turned out to be a problem with the connection beneath the drivers front seat. I took the connector apart and the main power wires had melted in the connector. I removed them from the connector and joined them securely outside of the ligh plastic housing. No issues since then!

Norm did you remove your seat to do this, our did you come up with some trick to get under there. My drivers seats heater doesn't work more then it works, and I'd like to inspect those connections under there.

Re: h2 door prob
you can see the connector by looking in from the drivers side rear door, at least in my 2004. There should be a split in the carpet and a plug about 3cm square with a lot of small wires and 4 larger wires going into it. Just follow the wires from the seat down to the floor.
