No one's made a November run post yet so I'd thought I'd start one.

The only Saturday in November that I Can make it is the 24th. Anyone interested?

I might suggest that we make it to the falls the 'easy way' for a smokie dog lunch over an open fire then exit via either Margaret Lake or Lost Knife depending on weather. I think a day of easy wheeling might be a good idea......

dhoa.... we've been going back and forth in the chat thread and had the 17th picked out and the other club was included.... any chance this would work for you?

GCwheeler - would this day work for you guys to?

input from others please... I just was told i can't come out and play on the 17th too so the 24th would work better for me as well... have a fund raiser to go to... wish it was for me...

we meet in the parking lot across from tim hortons in Cochrane at 9 and then we roll put around 9:30 or so.

from there we take the 1a out to the number 40 which leads us into waiparous. usually we meet in the pit where we air down and visit natures potty

sounds like Greg ( thanks buddy! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... rgreen.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />) will be leading this rabble with a goal of making it to the falls. it's a fairly easy trailbut he drives a gorgeous H1 so medium for the rest of us, lol.... Hard as Jeeps go <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... rgreen.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />..

back out via the lake or lost knife, which ever we decide on at the time I guess...

Sure, I'll take the lead on this one - plan for an easy day (hopefully!!).

We will leave at 9:30 - no later. I like the parking lot a bunch but I like the wilderness more so let's get out there! If you need to come late hopefully we'll see you at the gravel pit.

The plan is to take the easy road to Four Corners then keep heading west to the falls on the main trail. We'll have a nice lunch then access the weather and trail conditions and decide on the trail difficulty for the way back. The only issues we might have are the creek crossings. They can be difficult when they are half frozen - we'll see what we face when we get there.

BRING SOMETHING THAT COOKS ON THE END OF A STICK OVER AN OPEN FIRE - this will be our lunch.

Bring the usual recovery gear (front and rear tow hooks mandantory) and dress for all kinds of weather. I recommend planning on staying out there overnight.... you never know.

I'm looking forward to this!

Greg
