I have done the same on my H2, but I went one step further and made a hybrid system using an airbag inside the coil spring. It works remarkably well. At present I also still get the Service Air Suspension that keeps flashing on. Give me a couple of weeks and I will figure out how to eliminate this error message. It is simply due to the BCM looking for something that is no longer there...I just have to figure out how to trick it.

For the moment, whenever it comes on just cancel it with the switches on the steering wheel.

Do you have details on this setup anywhere?

there are a lot of air struts in the escalades, yukons, etc we sell a lot of these vehicles at work. they all have problems with the air ride systems. we just order an air ride deleat kit. it comes with coil springs and regular shocks, and these special resistors that plug into the harness where the bags were and the ride level sensors

are to fool the module into:thinking that the truck is level and is no need to activate the compressor. im sure you could just get the resistors without the suspension kit. google air ride deleat kits. sorry i cant remember the company that we use. i will look it up tomorrow and post it when i get home. just remember every component in an electrical system has a resistance when it is not working, the modules use this for quick checks to see if the systems are shorted or if a component is faulty. if you can find the resistance for the missing or faulty component you can fool the modules/ computers into thinking the system is ready and able.

the company that we use for the air suspension deleat kits is( strutmasters.com) if you check out the site they go into detail on how you bypass the warning lights. they also have a kit for the h2.
