A new event!

One like we've never done before.

I'm an Ambassador for the Hummer Club Inc so we'll do this under The Hummer Club Inc. banner.

Let's get together on Feb. 12 to learn more about our incredible trucks.

We'll meet at Miller Automotive 193 Stockton Avenue in Okotoks at 7:00pm.

Donavon Miller will be our host. As an AM General factory certified technician he's very familiar with the H1 and as the former Shop Manager at Shaw GMC Hummer he's seen it all when it comes to H2s and H3s. He has the training, and he has years of top level experience. Donavon is a Hummer expert - the real deal.

We'll put 2 trucks on lifts and spend an hour or two looking at the undersides. We'll cover pre and post wheeling checklists. What too look for and what to do to keep your trucks in top wheeling condition. We'll also talk about the typical issues and what to do to keep your truck running like a top. Donavon will also be answering any questions you have about your H1, H2 or H3. It's a real opportunity to talk to a real Hummer expert.

We'll have a few treats and soft drinks.

If we get a decent turnout I'll plan another event in the future - maybe a wrench party. This will be our litmus test so be sure to attend.

Sounds interesting!!

I should be down for that.... can I request to be a guinea pig? wouldn't mind another opinion specific to my rig and what I can do from here.... (Does Corona count as a "soft" drink? - it will also be healthy as I add citrus fruit...)

Yes - we NEED your truck. I'd like to have an H1 and an H2 on the lifts.

It's important to me that we pass on the booze - I really want to do a Hummer CLub Event and one of the club rules is no drugs or alchohol. We'll also be in Donavon's shop and I think we should respect that it's an industrial facility. Plus we'll be driving home, and with Redfords 'guilty before proven inocent' policies I really don't think it's a good idea. But I'm not the booze police.....

Anyway, I'm glad we can use your truck as a 'victim'. Maybe we'll spot something 'special' about your truck. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... lleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='::)' />

I think this'll be a really fun thing to do.

This event is getting a lot of love from 'other areas'. Even a web cast has been requested!

Check it out here if you want to.
