Hi all
Every once and a while my rear passenger door doesnt open.
Inside and outside handles dont grab or engage anything.
Then other days the door works fine.
Any ideas on this issue?
Relay maybe?
(yes I have them unlocked)

Hi
I know you said you press unlock and it does not work.
My old H2 did the same thing , then I realized it was not unlocking. I found that if I unlocked from my door button . It worked no prob's . But if I used the fob , it didn't un lock sometimes.
Also you might have unintentionally hit the lock button on the door .it does not lock rite away , and takes a few seconds . Relatively about the time it takes to walk to the back of the Hummer. (It's like they planned it that way)
The other is , I found because of wear over time . That the cable stretches so when you go to pull the handle. Make sure you pull it on the right side instead of the center of the handle . Also becarefull pulling they are famous for pulling the whole back piece off . This is from pulling to hard.
Hope this helps
Cheers
John

Door Lock Actuators are located inside the door panel. If you follow the rod from the door lock down you will run right into it.....they are nasty little things as they usually appear to be working once you take the door panel off and expose them, yet, they will fail as soon as you have everything reassembled....I don't fool around with them and try to fix them, I simply replace them and be done with it.....
