In 2008-2009 I was working at the Kandahar Airfield in Afghanistan. I was employed by a Canadian company to maintain and repair all the fire apparatus for the Airport, this was the first time I had been away from home for any length of time my rotation schedule was 3 months in, 1 month home. This was also the most rewarding job I have had along with being the most dangerous, being at the airstrip everyday I was under fire alot and it was a very busy place (130 flights a day at times). This is where I really gained interest in Hummers, when I got home after my first tour I bought my wife a 2007 H3 in yellow. I thought I would share some pics I took while I was there.
This is what happens when you race Hummers thru the camp and lose control and end up in the Waste Management pond: aka poop pond! The speed limit is 20 kmph strictly enforced, somehow I think they were going quite a bit faster!
The debate about who is going in to hook up to it.
This here is what I think they are using alongside the Hummer and possible replacement. Made by International and VERY tough!!!! Carries 6 guys in the back with gear. Stands up extremely well in IED blasts and keeps the guys very well protected.
Last the Tim Hortons..........no drive thru!!!!

Meh! You could just go drive that through a lake to clean it out. Just give the driver a scuba mask. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... oflmao.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rotflmao:' />
