Might not be able to attend. Had a little fender bender and need to do a little front end cosmetic work. Not exactly what I had in mind when I bought a welder.

Hummer Crash.jpeg
I may have traded vehicles with a friend so I could take something up to Calgary for the day that would fit in underground parking spaces downtown. About 15 minutes after they texted me saying be careful on the drive up, especially since you are in my car, I got a call from them saying they crashed my truck. Only made it two blocks from their house before sliding on some ice on a corner and hitting a parked water truck. Water truck didn't move as where it hit was 1/4 plate steel.
But on the possitive side I don't need to fix my current hood right away as I found a used one that was had all the body work done on it already and just needs paint. Just finished picking it up.

Front bush bar took the most of the damage, nothing structural or anything like that. just cutting welds, straightening things up and re welding. New hood is in way better condition than my old one. I had planned on doing a bunch of repair work for all the stress cracks this summer anyways. This just forced the issue I guess.

Oh good.... So sounds like will be a fairly easy fix hen eh?
Buddy gunna pay for it though... I must admit - i don't think I would let anyone drive the deuce... I'd be a nervous wreck...
