Well I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a BRAND new HVAC kit for my 96 truck,..there was one cold day earlier this week that I said enough is enough.. and thinking about another summer without AC..not a good thought..
 
 
So lots of work ahead for Phil to do the install but anyone that owns a 97 and older with the crappy HVAC knows what I am dealing with and since I bought it this way, I am ready to make it right.... I know there are a lot of other options out there but I think this is the best one..it is a bit pricey but it should have been done for free under warranty by the original owner, not sure why they wouldn't...

Just finished the upgrade of my 96 HVAC and what a difference!!! Did you get the exterior intake scoop upgrade as well??

No I didn't. .guess I should

It's a good addition and super cheap in comparison to the $2500 investment into the parts for the HVAC unit.

Yea I have ordered it already.. and I get so save some of the money being that I am a dealer....

you notice a huge heat output difference between the two units?

Ya it's way better now. Not sure about the AC yet, too cold outside to tell.

YEA.. It arrived yesterday.. scheduled install date is to Start Jan 20th... awesome!!! I am excited...
