Heater fan resistor pack - H3's

Ok Rhino has had his resistor pack fail (2nd time ) this causes a complete failure of the blower fan ( you may hear a click by the glove box when control is set on)
If you wish you can remove the glove box 3 screws at the bottom and the resistor pack 2 screws (note pack has a few really sharp edges)
once out remove harness plug ( it has most likely melted on the orange lead ) a temp fix is to try and wire across plug with heavy guage wire from pack ( use hole in pack leg) to other side of plug this should allow fan to operate till you can shop the truck or get parts to fix it yourself.

Built my own harness when my connector melted. Still going strong.

I have seen the harnesses melt and catch on fire. Blowers start to sieze up and cause this. If your harness has the extreme melt down i would recommend replacing the resistor, harness, and the blower.
