HUMMER HX might be released under GMC brand

Back in 2010 officials at General Motors said that releasing HUMMER models under the GMC badge was “discussed,” but that no plans existed to release any such vehicles “anytime soon.” Fast-forward four years and GMC designers are telling folks at The Car Guide that a vehicle following in HUMMER’s footsteps is currently being worked on.

Heard this long ago ( GMC had to wait out old dealerships contracts & enforce no Hummer signage at dealers that staied)

I hope this is true. That special one off GMC that was mentioned a few times in interviews would be a great addition. I've been holding out for a decent H3 Alpha, but I can always buy another GMC if its the closest I can get to a new Hummer HX!

It could be great if GM can revive Hummer H4 even under the brand GMC! It's really nice truck! It could have good future!

I hope this time it will be true! I will by this new GMC branded HX and change GMC badge on front grill to original Hummer one!

I like unusual predatory design of this truck! Plus it could real big time competitor to Jeep Wrangler! Same removable roof, doors, windshield etc.
