Step/Rock rail

Hey guys just wanted to let you guys see my new Side steps/ Rock Rails im putting on right now. Be finished tomorrow ready for paint. used 1.5" x 3.0" Steel tubing (1/4" wall) and 3/8" plate. Solid welds everywhere.

they look solid! ..this summer im gonna mod the stock h2 rock rails , bring them out farther and make them beefier .

Gary, you mean like I made on my H2? The ones that are 3/8" thick and weigh 225lbs??? :smil9:

lol love to buddy , but my truck weighs enough already ...so not that beefy !

very nice. did you replace the factory aluminum belly pans completely or attach these steel ones to the side on the aluminum ones?
 
What thickness steel did you make them out of?

My belly pans are steel. So they were directly welded to them. The tubing lying flat on top is 1.5" x 3.0" 1/4" wall. The angled plate is 0.375" plate.

Wow, I guess you won't be bending those any time soon.
