Just finished fabrication of some storage racks for the fender wells on my H1.
 
A little grinding left and then paint.
 
Here are some pictures of the first trial fit.
 
I was looking at some of the other racks on the market but at over $600 each in some cases and wanting something a little more custom I decided to fire up the welder.
 
Each rack is a little different as I wanted to store different things on each side. The front most compartment will be for a fire extinguisher and first aid kit so that those things are right at the front at all times.

Now that looks sweet!

Those look fantastic, and can double as bunk beds for the kids? Lol, how much weight do you think it added?

All painted up, and now installed. I forgot to take pictures this summer with all my camping gear neatly tucked away on the racks, but it worked out excellent, a place for everything.

Those are terrific! They look very well built and strong.

Lol, I used to be a sheet metal journey man, and working with expanded metals, always I get caught on something,

And get cut all the time,..

You tacked all the sharp end beautiful

Every edge of the expanded metal was welded to the tubes and ground down so that are no sharp edges anywhere.
