Has anyone on here played around with their ECU program? Recently have done some work to the H2. I will be re-flashing my ECU and was wondering if anyone had success and which program they used thanks.

I was looking at the diablo trinity, looks like it offers a lot of flexability

Don't waste your time with handheld programmers...they are a waste of money.
You have 2 choices;
1. Contact Wester's Garage and have them tune it specifically for your modifications and needs...this is a good option if you are not comfortable with programming. Truly plug and play.
or
2. Buy either EFI Live or HP Tuners software and tune it yourself!
I have EFI Live and I have my almost 9000lbs H2 on 38s running Under 15L/100km! If I would do it again, I would probably choose the software from HP Tuners simply because I would be able to unlock and program brands other than GM, but programming wise either one unlocks the ECM for full programming. I was even able to change my AFR and activate lean cruise, cut-back torque management and overall tune my H2 so that it is now one really sweet and powerful machine!
One very important thing to note. If you get the software you can keep adjusting the program until you have it exactly where you want it in every way! It took me 3months of program after program to dial my H2 in to it's present glory! That is why I always suggest you go with the software!
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info PB!
I do not think I have enough mods to warrant a full on tune. I will wait to do this until I have made some more mods. 15L/100Km is damn impressive

You can also contact Martin Smith at MGS Custom Tune 1(877) 838-1717. 1700 Baseline Rd. Unit 8, Courtice On. He charges a low fee for tuning and it covers you for your vehicles lifetime. If you change tire sizes, exhaust, etc, just take it back and he'll re-tune it. He even reprogrammed it when the dealership reset it to factory specs. He tuned mine for larger tires, gearing reduction, headers, exhaust... sounds great and good mileage too.

Thanks Tanky. I have the mods you listed (larger tires, headers, CAI) What is your milage like? Polar bears 15L/100km is impressive If i can get anywhere down near that I will definetely make the investment into a custom tune

Kevin, how difficult is to learn/use EFI Live software? Do I need anything else beside buying that software?

I'll backup Kevin in saying that the handhelds are not worth it - I have a SuperChips on mine and it doesn't matter what setting run it's all the same.
Only benefit is being able to change tire size / gearing.
