Toyo town and country seem to last a good lenght of time . Pit bulls are a soft tire that grips well but wears just as good

My Toyo Open Country M/Ts had almost 40000km on them when I changed them for my Michelin XML. The Toyos had over 50% tread left to use on the rears, but due to a steering issue my front tires took a bit hit and had less than 30%, so I decided to upgrade!
I have heard some guys getting close to 60000km ++++ from the Toyos.
My Michelin XMLs so far have over 10000km on them and they are awesome! They show little to no signs of wear!
Are you running Iroks? They normally wear very well due to the siping in the tread blocks.
Btw, there is now a 40x13.50R17 Toyo Open Country M/T...hint hint!

That is correct I run the iroks but bias ply...... I'm looking for something with a tad more life BUT with the aggressive look,
I might have to do the jump to 17" rim this coming year (gotta talk to Santa) and get the 40" toyos, many years ago I had the 37" toyos
On my h2 and lasted forever ,and drove very well

Or you could run the Iroks Radials! That would increase there on road manners a great deal! And get you a good bit more mileage!

Actually Mark, I bought a set of Bridgestone Dueler A/Ts for summer from you and a set of Yokohama Geolandr I/T winters. The summer tires probably have another 10,000km left on them but the winter tires are still good and deep! My Suburban Loves them!

I got 5 years and almost 100,000km out of my Pro Comp Mud Terrains. Sadly they are no longer available and it seems I'll be lucky to get half of that from the new Mickey Thompson Baja Claws.
