Installed Alpha Therm Heated Wash

Post by citiboy »

Just installed Alpha Therm Heated Wash unit. I also installed the necessary 60/80A relay to prevent constant On when battery is connected to a charger. It will only work when the engine is running and the battery voltage is 13.0V and up.

Easier for the wife to de-ice the windshield on a cold morning.

Cool!

I was planning on installing one on my H2!

I had it on my H2 for a while but died because i put the battery on trickle charge. Joe from Alpha Therm replaced it out-of warranty for 20 bucks and let me buy another one for his cost price. I came back from Boston trip last sunday and hit the snow storm on the way, blowing snow and freezing rain. This unit really got a work-out and my H2 performed flawlessly where everybody driving 50km/hr, i'm hitting 120km/hr. The looked i got from people, priceless!
