Anyone know of a place that can replace the glass windshield on hummer h1 in GTA area. I'm hoping to get the glass from Roy

Better try and loosen all the bolts first.If any are seized,they may break and could cause problems. There is no special goop needed, just unbolt and replace

Ok. Would that be something u could do at your shop or do I take it to speedy glass etc.

My existing glass is non heated non tinted

Ha I'll have to do this in near future as well, but I'm sure ALL my screws are seized ,I was planing on a dead slow day to break each screw (I'm sure) and then drill and retap . Not sure how long or a pain it is to do, basically to prep for window guy so his job goes smoother.

Materials cost isn't too bad. The shipping is an another issue. More costly than parts!

I would avoid Apple Auto Glass, they suck bad. They did my passenger side and did a real shitty job of it. It started leaking within a year and shorted out the electrics.

Anyone had experience buying from SAX Express. The price for glass and rubber trim is same as hummerpartsguy.com but the shipping is way less.

One time I was getting a stone chip fixed (on the island) and the window place said they can cut me what ever size glass for my fronts, and install, maybe there's a glass place there? Most those bigger places order, look for a custom place, and price wasn't bad
