Hey guys...I have a h1. I was trying to start it and while I was waiting for the glo plugs to warm up everything just shut off. I have no electrical power at all.
Please help.
I live in Toronto, Ontario if anyone knows a good mechanic

I am in Toronto as well. I could take a look at it for you depending on where you are.. Sounds like a bad battery cable or buss power connection which has been a common problem over the years. Also check that the battery bolts are tight.

I was wondering if it was battery bolts as well, but ugh didn't wanna say much as can be 100 things, but sounds like something simple like that.

I'm not sure exactly but, isn't there a fusible link between battery and alt?
I had in another diesel I owned, and almost sure h1 should have one as well?

Could be the ecm fuse, it is a problem with wires rubbing on the engine near the main plug.
Put a rag under the wires and replace the fuse at the drivers feet area. If this fixes issue, find the bare wire and wrap it up.
All the above are possibilities. Start with the basics and check all connections.
