Ok

From what I understand 4bt is a "easier" install that requires less work on towers? Do you still need a body lift ,or can you squeak in? does it cost a lot to upgrade them to achieve a decent hp? (250ish hp)

Or is the 6bt a better choice due to the extra 2 cylinders ?

the 4 bt will shake your teeth out.
the 6 bt is smooth and will require an adapter plate, starter, electric cooling fans, body lift-2" min.,larger tire so you can reach highway speed, engine mounts, wiring removal mainly, exhaust mods, 160hp cummins is plenty for the truck, ethanol injection is all the hp you will need.

I think you meant water-methanol injection and not ethanol injection!

Has anyone put any thought about the new 5.0L Cummins v8 T.D going in the Nissan Titan XD and commercial vehicles?

310hp & 555ft lbs of torque.

While it looks like it will be a great engine I doubt anyone would want to install a Tier 4 diesel with all of the electronic nannies and emission system sensors and filters. Off road we need simple and reliable!
