I searched forums - but didn't find any thread related to this problem... I was replacing my front break pads and noticed problem with one of the pistons - it hardly moved, and the pad on that side was twice thinner than others. The boot on that piston is very loose - so I guess dirt and water did a job,
Did anybody ever replace just one piston on H3? Does it make sense? Should I replace whole caliper?

Calipers are fairly cheap, think I paid $130 for the last one I bought, so I would just replace it and be done with the problem.

I agree, replace the caliper as an assembly!

Thank you guys. I was inclining toward replacing the whole thing - since I wasn't sure if it worth to play with piston... The boots on other pistons seems like close to their end of life - so I guess it make sense to take preventative measures :-). Any suggestion for brand/place to buy? 
I'm planning to replace on my own - do you have any tips? 

I bought mine in London at APC. Be prepared to replace the brake line as well depending on how rusty yours is. Mine broke as soon as I tried to remove the banjo bolt from the caliper.  Other than that it is pretty straight forward.

Although the calipers are quite cheap to buy and readily available everywhere they are also quite simple to rebuild and a lot less expensive. The repair kits were about 15 bucks IIRC.

That is something that I want to try when I have time. I didn't have to return my old calipers... so the plan is - to get repair kit and try to rebuild it before I have problem with my new ones... at this time - the only problem is to find the time
