Hi there, 
I was washing my 2004 Hummer H2 one day and on the front driver side wheel well, I notice 2 holes that looks like a large bolt missing.  Please take a look at this video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zrpjguKXUU

Ours has the exact same set up as yours, now you have me curious,

Likely alignment holes from the factory when the bodies are being carried on carriers, separate from the frame.
