Hey guys,
In the case that all of our trucks uses 7- inch round headlights I want to know if anyone has found a LED or HID projector headlight that is really good quality , which enhances night visibility and is legal!
Personally, I already tried JW Speaker 7 inches , I think they are better than the original halogens but I do not like the lighting pattern neither the yellow outline at the limits of the lights and for the price, I feel that they should produce much more light than they do!
I installed a set of Noldens on H1 Alpha , I think they are tremendously better than the J. W. Speakers. The light produced is a clear and white light and gives great distance , but at $1800 CAD they are much too expensive !
I installed a set of GE / Trucklite another H1, they are very clear and white and gives a lot of light to the sides but not as much distance as I would expect to see.
So I am looking for the best possible lights for the lowest price that have great illumination to the sides but long range distance is what I am really looking for!
Has anyone tried a set of HID Projector 35W or 55W or 100w ? If so, do you have any pictures and info ?
Has anyone tried a set of 7-inch LED from XPriteUSA or OPT7 or Vision-X? If so, do you have any pictures and info ?
Really hoping we can find the best 7-inch Headlight to meet all our needs !
Let me know your comments and suggestion.
Kev

Kev here is what I installed. I am very happy with the brights and the lows give off plenty of white light.
For the price and ease of install HPG has a great deal on them IMHO.

Re: Best 7 inch Round Headlights
I just was looking at several types of lights this week and i like and am going to buy led spot lights for my light bar at roof level. I find this light super bright and intense comared to let flood lights. I know flood lights are for closer range and spots are for distance. good luck.
