Hello,
I'm not planning to use the H1 much during the winter considering the amount of salt that Ontario puts out...but anyway considering to do an under body rust protection. Being new to Canada I've learnt there are many companies and compounds available and wonder what your experiences are and if you have any companies to suggest in GTA?
Looking forward to some great advice and thoughts since I assume many of you have experience on this topic...amazing the amounts of salt they pour out...! The salt producers and the government must be related...!

I would find the nearest known dealer and get them to go at it. i have my H2 sprayed twice a year. I'm also in Ontario. About an hour north of you. They poor the salt down like crazy. Our roads have more salt then McDonald's frys

Coming from (no salt) just sand , BC, lol it was like a slap,...
Our h2 had Chrome bush bar , some places chromed , soon as we hit AB, then Sask, and Ont, lol all was covered in rust from the salt as we came threw in winter,
I know we need it, for safety but wow, it does eat one truck

This sounds great...eh!
In Europe we pretty much has salt band due to environment impact and for the cars... I moved here in Feb and was surprised to see the streets being blue! (...by salt...)
Anyway, out of three different companies doing the corrosion spray which one do you suggest or any special type/chemical? I.e. What's the best??
Have a nice Sunday!

I use Pro Oil Change (Bradford). I don't know what they use - some treated oil underspray product. Seems to work fine. Go twice a year at $100 / spray. They do the oil changes in my other vehicles (not the Hummer though - only Phil) and do a good job.
Another good company is Pro Fleet (Barrie). They come to your location and apply the underspray. I use them for the trailers.
Both are franchise outfits so the level of service may vary depending on your location.

Used transmission fluid is what i have been using for years on all under body stuff.
Heck of a lot cheaper and less messy than the sticky stuff shops use.

Do you guys spray the inside of the doors too?
I'm going for a spray this weekend at Krown and not sure if to opt in for that?
Thanks!
