Has anyone ever did this?
My front cores about 4-5 years old and just for next year I was planning to flush her out.
I'm assuming behind the water valve I can do it , backward first then other way to mix her up??
Then refilled with antifreeze and wait till winter
Just more so maintaining type thing

You do not have to empty system.
Just put a bypass at the heater core hoses.
The inner heater has not normally given any grief that I know .
Now flush the core out both ways till it flowes evenly each way, as well as fast.
I normally use both air and water.
Re connect the hoses and top up coolant as it runs.

But still , so me help me gawd, if I flush it and find my front core blast to the ground from water pressure , I won't be impressed, heehhe
