Well, after a while of an irritating

Rattling. Basically I went over the whole front end looking for something that seemed out of place but everything was fine.

I then see shiny bolt heads on my hamonic balancer pulley whhel , so I move my harmonic balancer and realized it's loose ,the rubber split.. steers side to side.

Not sure if you can tell but the wheel actually spun in hit the bolt heads like the rubber is completely off on the inside diameter

Here's some of collateral damage hehehe

This is all new again...

Just a doorman balancer, so figure in a year or two I'll have to use a proper name brand.....

Lol the flash make a the rubber on the new one look marked up, but it's not

Ps, on a sad note, lol when I was testing my balancer before,...I took off the belt and then was able to wiggle it,(also saw shiny bolt heads)

I musta put my belt not quite on well, as soon as I started the motor , I hear a squeal , then before I can shut off I hear a "pop"

Damn belt spun around the crank pulley and snapped.....

Part that REAALY Hurt , was my wife had her keys at work with her (as I drove her to work) , so I needed a cab to pick up a belt and balancer,...lol

Aaaaaaaaaaand of course cabbie took darn longest route, with his ancient gps guiding threw rush hour,,,

That part in a pulley not a balancer. Yes they rattle very noisily when worn out.CTC is the cheapest place to get one if in stock. Good find. You should know almostevery inch of that truck by now! ::)

Lol, true I think I just say balancer,,, but yes, it's just a pulley.....

I was planing to change the balancer. But it seemed ok, and lol 200lbs tork , didn't think I'd want to tackle with a 20+ year old truck... Heheh
