Bringing a motor from the US?

I'm still in my debating stage but I was looking at used motor in the USA. (Ted's military take outs)

Like Margaret said they have the new design cast blocks for $3K, super low km. Under 20k miles....some 2k miles

I'm curious on importing? Duties?

Is it much more to bring it across the border and have it shipped to business?

Or is it worthwhile to cross the border at some form of Depot?

Just wanted some input on people that may have done this in the past.

Just trying to see different scenarios in my head.

Thanks members! ;)

This is just me thinking , what's it like with usa shopping

I have brough 2 496 vortec big blocks back from the Us on two occasions. The only thing you need to pay on used auto parts is tax in the amount you paid. Make sure you get a receipt from seller.

Yep pretty simple. Only thing is shipping if you need to and the damn dollar right now. Ouch!
