Not wanting to go to LED, but wanting to add more lighting.

I just installed new h4 hella's

Basicly plug and play.

I'm sure in the future if I want to go high in power I'll need to add relays.

To avoid the extra power draw ,lol on my headlamp switch....

*no melt downs here ,hehe*

Assembling the h4 took little longer to assemble then the actual install of lights hehe

One is a close-up of the headlight and the other is a close-up of the new headlight

Looks good any reason you didn't want to go LED?

More so I think just curiosity as this headlight stuff will be new to me.

Right off the bat I could tell the lights were a tad brighter, nothing like nigh and day but definitely there was so much extra brightness.

Probably in the future I will try H4 LED inserts.

For some reason I don't think I'm a fan of the yellowish light now that I look more at it.I might want to try to go with something more white.

LED headlights are great for warm weather areas, They do not produce heat so snow will not melt off them.

With the H4 set up, you may need to upgrade the wires inside the pots, seen a lot of them melt down.

I will definitely keep an eye on that.

One thing I forgot to mention, was that I did put a relay for the headlights as well so there is no load on the actual switch itself like the factory normally has.

Now I noticed when it turn it on its much faster as before there was a hair of a delay.

I put a relay for the high beams now as well, before I only had low beams hooked up.

Lol, nutty me, I had the wires going to the wrong side of the hood disconnect plug so there is no way to take my hood off, I spent this afternoon redoing my low beam and my high beam now everything is beautiful and perfect

Sooooo, lol when I want to remove my hood I just pulled the plug , and bam.

Now waaayyy less stress on my height light switch.
