After 14 years of ownership and 8 years of sitting I finally scrapped together enough parts to get the truck going again.
 
Although I have been tinkering with it for the last 2 years I realized I couldn't find the time needed to get it up and going this year so I sent it off to Roy.. and boy does he have his work cut out for him.
 
I am very excited to finally be back behind the wheel of my hummer.

and no.. it is not a april fools joke but I am pulling the legs of a few friends on facebook right now.

Evening one, start ripping apart...
 
move truck back to second hoist,
wheels off, stabilizer bar off, front cv shafts out ,front air lines disconnect, front protection off,drain front hub oil.

The guy is a magician and does wonders.

Monk: Yes I am very excited and already have a smile from ear to ear just knowing it is in good hands. Can't wait until it is complete!

Looking good, springs comeing and I'll have to do some maintenance, nothing like yours , just minors things here and there

Yes, she unfortunately needs a lots of love. Last night was the first night since Friday night in which I had a good sleep lol. Keep thinking about what I want to do with it when it is back up and running.

After first week, front end all apart, rebuilding hubs, sand blasting as required,then painting new and re used parts
 
   
 
 
 
 

I have not been to Roy's in quite a while as my truck is running perfect, but when I see this kind of stuff this just reassures why I love his shop the guy goes over and above to do a good-looking job

Time to stop tonight...rebuilding has begun...
