Need some help here guys.  To make a long story short...I sold my 2003 Hummer on Monday.  My wife, who stated she hated the damn thing, was crying when it left the laneway.  On Tuesday, she told me she really had started to like the Hummer (converted another one!!!) and she was sad to see it go.  Well, today, I just bought a 2005 Hummer H2 black with black interior.  I wanted to get an extended warranty one this one just to be safe.  Anyone know of a good company to go with and what a reasonable cost would be?<img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='???' />

anyways I got the extended warranty from GM, they have different options, even if you didn't buy it from a dealer and even if the old factory warranty had already expired. I think it is called the GM protection plus or something like that.. it is a GM warranty, not some after market, third party crap... check them out

I got the 80,000 or 4year extension! warranty to 140,000kms or 2012 for a 2005... have to love that! bumper to bumper for only $100 deductible!!

Hmmmm.....let me guess......GM warranty is the only way to go!!!!!  And they say I'm a slow learner, geez....  About how much did you guys pay for the extended warranty and did you have to buy it from a Certified Hummer Dealer or will any GM dealership sell it to you.  One more thing, does warranty work have to be done at a Certified Hummer Dealership or can it be done at a GM dealership?<img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='???' />  (The closest Hummer dealership is about 2 hours away)

I bought mine from a GM dealer but the work needs to be done by a HUMMER dealer, where are you located?

I think mine was around $1800???

I paid $2300... I think but that was for the 4 year / 80,000KM full bumper to bumper..

I figured it would be around an extra $2,000 for the extended warranty.  I live in Parry Sound and we have a GM dealership here, but the closest Hummer dealership that SELLS Hummers is in Barrie, otherwise, Toronto would be the closest certified Hummer dealership (I think?<img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='???' />) <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='???' />
