Moose on the loose

Stepping into traffic on Hwy 11 just east of Red Deer a moose disregards oncoming vehicles to get to the other side of the road.



The moose was successful getting across the road unscathed but became tangled in a barbed wire fence as it proceeded onto the Balmoral Golf Course property.



After getting its front legs over the wire its rear legs got caught and it took some effort to pull itself free, breaking the wire away from the fence posts as it did.

In Brampton, I only see Squirrel but My license plate says it all RUNOVRU.. as you can see Julie stole my plate name as her Username on her..

Moose, Squirrel, what's the difference?? a speed bump or a mountain.. we will climb them all!

Unfortunately I was NOT in the Hummer and I was looking up at the moose's rear end as I drove by...didn't see him until the white hair on the back of his a** went by the window. Worst part was I had the family with me and we were rushing up to Sudbury where my father-in-law was being rushed into emergency open heart surgury...We almost met him at the hospital via ambulance if we hit the moose.

Just north of Hwy 9 on Bathurst we came upon an accident. A deer had been struck police were waiting for a vet before clearing the scene. and remember a deer was caught in downtown Toronto last summer.
