hummer fire extinguisher

Post by dwaxman1 »

looking to buy a fire extinguisher for my H2, but have a couple of questions:

1. do I just need a B/C or does it need to be A/B/C extinguisher?

2. anyone mount this in a H2 before, looking for ideas on where to put it....

thanks

wish I had an answer, but I have the same question too as to size and a good location to put it.

I have already mounted a 3 d cell mag lite to the passenger side, center console, on the side, lower part where carpet is glued.

Well...I reach down the side of me seat to where there are 3 familiar shaped button controls....thusly being able to use battery power to adjust the seat to my comfort..... <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' />

I couldn't resist.....no problems, the seat does not hit it, and if it did, the light does have some slideability in it's mounts to go forward or back......plastic clip on mounting brackets....standard mag-lite ones.

I tried to put mine there, took a look at your picture... what do you have at the front of the lite? Also when i put my seat completely forward, it looks like it goes past that point..

As far as flashlights go, Mag-Lites are ancient technology.

Get yourself a real light, say a Streamlight product.

I have an UltraStinger by Streamlight. It's a bit smaller than a Mag-Lite, but infinitely brighter; could be used as a weapon at nighttime; it's that bright. Overkill, really, but I collect lights the way some people collect stamps. lol.

There are many other much better lights, the Pelican M11 is one of many.
