HOPE Program in Canada

  No, Derek, I am not HOPE certified.



  We had a couple of meetings way back when HOPE was getting started with GM Canada in Oshawa.

  The program in Canada had to get approved by the U.S. General Morors Foundation which funds this

   type of thing.

 

  Then GM ran into their sales slump and the funds were never forthcoming.



  HOPE with GM Canada and the Canadian Red Cross never went forward; there is no such program

  in this country.

Guys..actually Roy and Tony got certified at the even this weekend, Markus and I will get ours in the mail too....

D, I just finished my 2-day first aid recertification on thursday and friday and now I will be contacting Mike morris for the trail endorsement. I realize that GM doesn't give us any support in Canada but at least we can go and help out in the USA if the need arose!



Have you guys done the frist aid certification yet???

Tony and Roy filled in all the forms and got all hooked up already, Markus and I missed it but I did already contact Mike Morris for the info and what else is needed, basically we needed to run a # 3 trail to qualify for the certification..
