New Quick Disconnects for H1s with CTIS

Post by whitehumh2 »

Cepek now sells these double isolating quick disconnect kits for H1s, they allow complete removal of the wheel from the vehicle without requiring a quick run around your hummer to lock out the other tires! I saw them on the Rubber Duck site but I think you can them from Flash Off-Road also since Chuck is a Cepek Dealer anyways!

So Tony you were right about the double disconnects!

You can also build them yourself from fitings you can order. It costs about $100 for all four wheels from what I remember.

Went thru McMaster-- price per wheel is $47.50 Can. + shipping. Some numbers changes due to none propane valving and non stock items now. , May be able to reduce pricing when I check into other sources

These are pieced together so, if one part breaks, just replace that part. And not the whole unit.

If interested, it takes overnight from Chicago to get any or all parts to my door by 9:30am. Some machining is required!!

SOUNDS GOOD BUT JUST TO MAKE SURE .....QUICK RELEASE......RIGHT?<img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='???' />

new Stainless Steel Braided CTIS Line Kit by G.T. This new set incorperates a unique quick disconect duel isolating system on each hub fitting allowing the operator to simply disconect and fully isolate the wheel in seconds. No more disconecting one side and quickly running to the other side of your H1 to isolate the wheels.

The Polished Aluminum Wheel CTI Kit includes 4 Duel Isolating CTI valves, stainless braided cti lines, center caps and hardware. It is recomended that you also use G.T. chrome valve steams to match your new CTI Lines if using a 16.5" rim. Both the 17" and 18" CTI line sets include the valve steam.
