Trail Scouting Day
Posted: Tue Oct 28, 2008 11:50 am
Hello everyone
I am hosting a trail scouting ride on my property near Tweed, Ontario on November 22. The main object of this event is to gather all the knowledge and experience from members of the Canadian Hummer Club to develop a trail system on 375 acres of private land.
As I am new to this sport I have very limited knowledge.
This will give club members an opportunity to help design a course. The land varies from swamp to rock and field to wooded areas.
While you are there we can go on a 5 mile ride near the property.
It shouldn't be too difficult unless we get a pile of rain between now and then.
You are more than welcome to spend the night at the hunting camp; a bunk house accommodates 8 people. Just bring a sleeping bag if you are staying overnight. It is a little rustic but it has all the comforts of home.
We will meet at Tim Horton's in Tweed at 9:00 am on November 22 and you can follow me from there.
Google Maps or MapQuest just enter Tweed Ontario K0K 3J0
Regards
George
